Alumni from any class who are back on campus early, join us at the Chapter House for dinner. We would love to have you chat with the actives and tell us your journey.

6:45 p.m. – Personal Development Talk to Actives – Chapter House - No Cost

Alumni speaker and topic to be determined. This program is supported by the Educational Foundation.

Friday, September 27

All Day 

Alumni who are coming back to campus for Reunion & Homecoming are invited to come to the Chapter House anytime throughout the day to meet some of the active brothers. Stop in and we will give you a tour, sit and chat, and welcome you back! 

6:30 – 8:30 p.m. - Epsilon-Eta Reunion Welcome Event – Chapter House - No Cost

An official welcome back to the alumni on campus, join us at the Chapter House for a casual reception and networking. Light fare provided. Please note that the Rensselaer campus is a dry campus. No alcohol is allowed in the Chapter House. 

Bicentennial Sunset Spectacular

RPI has planned a Bicentennial Sunset Spectacular on Friday evening on Anderson Field.

Saturday, September 28

11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - Epsilon-Eta Barbecue at the Chapter House - No Cost

Not golfing? Join us at the Chapter House for a barbecue courtesy of the active brothers. Use the Chapter House as a meeting place and reconnect with brothers and the actives and AMs. Please note that the Rensselaer campus is a dry campus. No alcohol is allowed in the Chapter House. 

11:00 a.m. (Shotgun start at 12:00 p.m.) - 3rd Annual Golf Outing at Van Patten Golf Club - Cost $130 (includes: greens fees, golf cart, driving range access, prizes, and the EHZ Reunion Dinner following golf.)

Enjoy a day of golf with your brothers as we hold the 3rd Annual Epsilon-Eta Golf Outing. The outing will take place at the Van Patten Golf Course in Clifton Park, NY. Start the day with a warm up at the course starting at 11 a.m. The golf outing is expected to last 4-5 hours and will lead right into the Epsilon-Eta Reunion Dinner at the Van Patten Golf Club (included in registration fee.) Beer cart and lunch are available at/on the course on a cash basis. Secure partners or register as a solo golfer and we will place you in a foursome. A special thank you to Guy Licata, EH 1244 for leading this effort for the past three years.

Epsilon-Eta Zeta Reunion Dinner
Location: Van Patten Golf Club

Annual Meetings at 4:30 p.m.
Dinner starts at 6:00 p.m.

The highlight of the weekend will be our traditional Reunion dinner. The dinner will take place at The Vista at the Van Patten Golf Club in Clifton Park, NY. Prior to the dinner, brothers are asked to attend the Housing Corporation and the Educational Foundation’s annual meetings and elections. Both will provide updates in their respected yearly business. Appetizers will be available during the meetings.

$75 per person - The cost to attend the dinner for those not golfing will be $75 per person. (Dinner is included in the Golf Out fee.) Dinner will include appetizers and buffet and a cash bar is available.

A full program will include a keynote speaker, presentation of the Remo D’Ortenzio Leadership Award, an update from the High Alpha, and the Golf Outing prizes and awards.

As a reminder, The Van Patten Golf Club is approximately 35 minutes from the RPI campus. Please plan your travel accordingly.

We have scheduled the Lambda Chi Alpha Alumni Dinner on Saturday evening because it provides us with the largest audience of brothers on campus. We hope you are able to join us at the dinner.

Below is a full schedule of the evening:

5:00 p.m. - Housing Corporation Annual Meeting – The Vista, Van Patten Golf Club

Receive an update on the state of the Chapter House at the annual meeting. As a part of the meeting brothers will elect the President, Treasurer, Vice President for Strategy and Planning, and Member-at-Large positions.

5:30 p.m. - Educational Foundation Annual Meeting – The Vista, Van Patten Golf Club

The Educational Foundation will hold the annual meeting which includes a report of fundraising, review of support initiative, as well as elections for positions on the foundation board. 

6:00 p.m. - Epsilon-Eta Zeta Reunion Dinner - The Vista, Van Patten Golf Club

Join us for the traditional dinner to celebrate your Reunion and have a great time seeing brothers from all decades, including many of the active brothers. The dinner will include a presentation of the Remo D’Ortenzio Leadership Award. Additionally, we will have a very special moment as we recognize Joe Salo, EH 771, a recipient of the prestigious Order of Merit honor. Members of the Class of 1962 will also provide reflection remarks.

About the Remo D’Ortenzio Leadership Award

The Remo J. D'Ortenzio Leadership Award was established in 2016 to recognize the depth and quality of Leadership provided by Brother D'Ortenzio throughout his lengthy service to the fraternity and the college.

About the Order of Merit

Since 1935, Lambda Chi Alpha has recognized unusual, lengthy, and dedicated service — particularly at the local chapter level — with the election of the Order of Merit. Past recipients of this award include: Jay Hawthorne, EH 1 (1954), Robert L. St. Thomas, EH 659 (2004), Michael Morganti, EH 781 (2010); Joseph Salo, EH 771 (2024). Roger Grice, ThU 426 (EHZ High Pi Emeriti) (2000).

Hotel Information

Desmond Hotel (Crowne Plaza)
Many brothers from the 1970’s and 1980’s will often use the Desmond Hotel as their lodging choice. This location is about 10 minutes from RPI and about 25 minutes from the Van Patten Golf Course.

Hilton Garden Inn Clifton Park
This would be a good hotel choice because it is halfway between RPI and the Van Patten Golf Course (approximately 15 minutes from each.)

Courtyard Clifton Park
This would be a good hotel choice because it is halfway between RPI and the Van Patten Golf Course (approximately 15 minutes from each.)

RPI Listed Accommodations
RPI has several hotels listed on their Reunion & Homecoming site.

There are many hotels in the Troy, Albany, and Clifton Park areas. Clifton Park is the center point between RPI and The Van Patten Golf Course - the location of the Saturday Dinner.
