Please join us for a tribute event as we celebrate the remarkable tenure of Roger Grice, ThU 426, as our High Pi (Chapter Advisor) for nearly 30 years. Roger has been the backbone of our chapter and a pillar of our fraternity for over three decades. He embodies the essence of a True Brother, leader, mentor, and friend, all while cracking jokes, providing unique wisdom, and creating many Roger-isms throughout the many memorable years.

Roger Grice has exemplified commitment and devotion to the growth of our chapter. His leadership has steered us through countless challenges and triumphs, ultimately shaping us into the organization we are today. Roger has set the highest standards for us all to aspire to, leaving an indelible mark on each member who has had the privilege of crossing paths with him.

Roger has been a source of inspiration and wisdom for generations of Lambda Chi Alpha Brothers. His profound impact extends far beyond the confines of our Chapter House, resonating with all who have been fortunate enough to know him. Roger's leadership has not only enriched our chapter throughout his years as an Advisor, but it has also left the Chapter with an incredible legacy that will continue to shape the lives of undergraduate Brothers for years to come.

Beyond his role within our Fraternity, Roger's impact on the broader Greek community at RPI has been nothing short of extraordinary. His tireless efforts and unwavering dedication have played a pivotal role in sustaining and enriching fraternity and sorority life on our campus, ensuring its continued vitality and growth. Simply stated, he has profoundly influenced the Greek community at RPI.

We invite you to join us in celebrating Roger's remarkable legacy and the deep impact he has had on our chapter and the broader Greek community.

All of Roger’s Brothers and family, the AFSC, FSC staff, RPI partners, and friends are invited to attend this event. We welcome all of those that have worked with Roger for the three+ decades!

The event includes a buffet lunch followed by a program to honor and celebrate Roger. Dress is business casual/casual (because that is Roger!)

Official Statement from Roger Grice

I’ve been High Pi at Epsilon-Eta since 1996. It’s been a great ride, and I’ve enjoyed the happy times, the glory times, and even the less-than-happy times. I’ve had the chance to work with many good guys over the years.

But it’s time for a transition. Getting up to RPI is not as easy as it used to be, and I find that I’m virtual at events rather than there in person. The chapter deserves more. (We’ve kidded over the years about pulling a “Weekend at Bernie’s,” when they could stuff me in a corner somewhere and drag me out when they needed to show that they have a chapter advisor.)

Lambda Chi’s Office of Administration puts High Pi’s up for renewal every two years, and my current term expires on April 30. I’ve decided not to seek renewal.

Fortunately, Geoff Seber, current House Corporation president, has agreed to continue his long association with the chapter by stepping into the role of High Pi.

I know that the chapter will continue its great operation and continue to grow and demonstrate what a great fraternity chapter should be.

ZAX,

Roger
