High Sigma - Scholastic Chairman

The High Sigma is responsible for keeping the brotherhood aware of its academic performance. He communicates deadlines and schedules for RPI related activities. He is responsible for coordinating review sessions and tutors when needed. It is his duty to work with brothers having academic troubles to ensure they receive any assistance they need. LXA is proud of our academic success at Rensselaer and it is Sigma’s duty to ensure that our academic success continues. He is also responsible for the cultural education of the chapter. Some of Sigma’s other duties are listed below.

Duties:

• Serves as a non-voting member on the Executive Committee
• Tracks the grades of active brothers and places deficient members on academic probation or suspension
• Holds cultural events to expand the chapter’s cultural education
• Reports the chapter’s grades to the national fraternity
